George Santos’ attempt to mock Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gets unexpected ‘prize’

Serial liar Rep. George Santos (RN.Y.) tried to mock Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.) on Twitter Thursday — but it didn’t go well.

Santos criticized Ocasio-Cortez’s impassioned speech on the House floor, in which he attacked the House GOP’s vote to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from her job on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

“I DEMAND Sandy get an Oscar PRONTO!” Santos tweeted.

“I’m going to talk to the Academy about getting you a lifetime achievement award for Best Actor,” responded actor Billy Baldwin.

Other critics couldn’t believe the audacity of Santos, who accused someone else of playing a role given how he was found to have fabricated much of his backstory and is under investigation for his campaign finances.
