NEW YORK – Starting today, fans can sign up for MLS Season Pass, the unprecedented subscription service now available on the Apple TV app in more than 100 countries and regions. To prepare for the 2023 Major League Soccer season, fans can enjoy a variety of on-demand content celebrating the action, excitement and distinctive culture of MLS, including content from MLS clubs, player profiles of 2023, the best league and Best Club Highlights of the 2022 season, full replays of classic matches and documentary-style vignettes.

Once the season begins on February 25, the MLS Season Pass will offer all live MLS regular season games, the entire Audi MLS Cup playoffs and the Leagues Cup1 all in one place, with consistent game times and no power outages – a first in live sports broadcasting. With an MLS Season Pass subscription, fans can enjoy every MLS game on billions of devices through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes and gaming consoles, and on the web at tv. apple.com.
Fans can visit mlssoccer.com/schedule to see the full 2023 MLS season schedule, including games available for free on the Apple TV app for the first month. Additional free games are added regularly throughout the season.
The ultimate destination for MLS fans
The MLS Season Pass will offer MLS fans the most comprehensive and accessible range of content ever, including all MLS and Leagues Cup games, as well as hundreds of MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT games throughout the season. Each game offers fans the opportunity to catch the action live or see it from the start.
The MLS Season Pass will also include pre-game shows and a post-game recap, which will be completed each evening. To complete the action, the MLS Season Pass features a five-hour whip-around live show capturing all key moments of each game from the start of the opening East Coast games to the final whistle of the West Coast competitions (7:30 p.m. ET-00 :30 p.m. ET).
On matchdays, all of the day’s live and upcoming games are prominently displayed on the MLS Season Pass, allowing fans to quickly see what they want to watch. On non-match days, fans can enjoy match previews, Club Sizzle videos to look forward to the next showdown, highlights, replays and more great content. Throughout the season, the MLS Season Pass features weekly shows, goals to win, great saves and other highlights of the week – all curated to highlight the best from across the league.
All matches are accompanied by English and Spanish speaking announcers, while matches involving Canadian teams also feature commentary in French. Pregame shows and postgame wrap-up will be available in English and Spanish. Fans in the US and Canada will also have the option to select their home team’s radio for audio broadcast on the Apple TV app when available (FCC will broadcast radio this season. Games will be broadcast on iHeart Media stations).
At the forefront of MLS Season Pass coverage is a team of talented broadcasters and football legends whose passion for the game will help showcase all of the MLS action and compelling storylines. Special club pages
Fans can choose their favorite club for a more personalized experience on the Apple TV app. Once a fan selects a favorite club, their games automatically appear in the Up Next Watchlist in the Apple TV app, so they never miss a moment. Fans can also choose to receive a notification on iPhone and iPad when their game starts.
Each club page offers fans a single place to find everything there is to see about their club. Fans can explore live games, match previews and other key club content, including interviews and replays. Fans can also find a schedule of all their club’s matches and enjoy regularly updated stories and highlights.
More ways for fans to celebrate MLS
Starting today, fans of clubs can enjoy curated playlists featuring songs and artists that embody those clubs’ cultures, as well as two MLS-inspired playlists exclusively on Apple Music, with more music content to be added throughout the season. Fans can visit apple.co/AM-MLS on iPhone, iPad or Mac to be taken directly to the MLS experience on Apple Music.
When the season kicks off on February 25, fans can visit Apple Maps to explore special Match Day Guides produced by MLS clubs including Atlanta United, Nashville SC and Toronto FC and detailed recommendations for local bars and restaurants find to watch a game information about their stadiums and more. Maps is also launching several new, custom three-dimensional MLS stadium landmarks just in time for the season opener, including the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey; Lumen Field in Seattle; and Audi Field in Washington, DC
With iOS 16, Apple introduced a new My Sports section in the Apple TV app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV so users can easily follow their favorite clubs, teams, and leagues.2 Fans can visit apple.co/MySportsMLS iPhone or visit iPad can be taken straight to the Apple TV app and follow your favorite Major League Soccer clubs, get notifications of upcoming games, track real-time scores and more.
My Sports also makes it easy to get personalized, real-time sports coverage from Apple News. Fans can stay up to date with the best stories from top publications – and check out live scores, fixtures, leaderboards and highlights.
Fans can ask Siri a variety of questions about MLS, including fixtures, results, standings, club rosters and player stats.3
Subscribe to the MLS Season Pass
Fans can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass in the Apple TV app for $14.99 per month during the season or $99 per season, and Apple TV+ subscribers can subscribe for a special price of $12.99 per month or $79 per season sign up.4 A subscription to the MLS season pass is included with every full season pass account. With Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the subscription with their own Apple ID and password.
The launch of the MLS Season Pass marks the official start of the 10-year partnership between MLS and Apple, a historic first for a major professional sports league.
