Applications for Visa Support Letters

The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal letters of invitation for Visa to attend ACM-sponsored conferences. However, we can issue a Visa Support Letter. The following information should be published on the conference website:

• ACM may provide letters of support for visas to both participants and authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee.

• For visa support letters, direct all requests to [email protected]. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are processed in the order in which they are received. The following information should be attached to the application:

  • Your name as it appears on your passport

  • Your current postal address

  • The name of the conference you are registering for. Only accepted authors can apply for a Visa Support Letter before registering for the conference.

  • Your registration confirmation number

  • If you have accepted papers for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the “sole author” or a “co-author”.

  • Authors can provide the title of their work. If paper is not available, presenters can provide the title of their presentation.

ACM does not provide mail for the transportation of Vendor or Presenter equipment. ACM recommends that materials be shipped to the conference facility with insurance.
