The new Liv Intrigue LT is the women’s-specific brand’s longest-travel trail bike with 150mm rear travel and 160mm front travel.
Two models will be available at launch – the Intrigue LT 1 and the Intrigue LT 2. Both trail bikes feature an aluminum frame in sizes XS to L.
The two smallest sizes are only available in mullet configuration. Larger sizes can use a flip chip to run mullet or 29er configurations – although all stock builds come with 29″ wheels.
Giant’s Maestro 3 flip chip changes the geometry of the bike.
The head tube angle, seat tube angle, and bottom bracket height all change through the low, mid, and high settings.
The adjustments change the head tube angle by an average of 0.4 degrees. In the loosest “low” option, it spans the entire size range from 64.6 degrees to 64.8 degrees.
The frame features an integrated storage system, popular on many mountain bikes in this category.
According to Liv, it comes with a waterproof bag to keep your snacks and essential tools dry. It’s also likely that this helps deaden the sound of objects bouncing around in the frame.
The suspension on both bikes has been tuned specifically for women, according to Liv, for optimal performance.
