FARGO — North Dakota’s freeways have reopened after closing overnight Friday and into Saturday afternoon, traffic officials said around 1 p.m. Saturday.
Despite the reopening of roads, travel is still dangerous.
“Much of the state remains under a travel advisory and motorists can expect icy road conditions when traveling. Please slow down and drive appropriately,” the North Dakota Department of Transportation said in a press release.
Driving snow, icy roads and near-zero visibility kept portions of Interstate 29 and Interstate 94 and portions of US Highways 2 and 52 closed through Saturday morning and afternoon.

Our newsroom occasionally reports articles under the heading “Employees”. Often the “staff” line is used when rewriting basic short messages that come from official sources such as B. a press release from the city about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. Sometimes this byline is used when a news story has numerous authors, or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from different sources. If external sources are used, this will be noted in the history.
