For fans of women’s soccer among those of us who follow the Boston Celtics, many are familiar with the career of former University of Connecticut basketball star Ashley Battle and her journey to the WNBA and a successful career in that league and beyond as the NBA -Scout for Boston.
But for the rest of us Celtics fans who might not be as familiar with their history, the ball club put together a short video of Battle, which chronicles her journey from Storrs, Connecticut to Boston, Massachusetts as a talent scout for the most awarded franchise the world describes league of all time.

In addition to telling her story as an individual, Battle touches on how she paves the way for WNBA players and women in general, who hold a job that has historically been more associated with men in the league.
