February 2023 Mystery Gift Codes offer players unique items Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, ranging from rare items to points that contribute to their standing in leagues. The wide range of free rewards players receive encourages them to enter these codes as soon as possible before they expire, as many of these earnings don’t last very long. Additionally, any Trainer in the Paldea region can directly use the items provided by these Mystery Gift Codes, as their application remains universal, unlike previous codes that focused on specific Pokemon.
This function in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has continued through generations, from special events to codes used to gift items to players, even in recent years Pokemon Sword and Shield. In a popular system, players can redeem their codes by clicking “X“-Enter to navigate to the game’s main menu. Heading to Poke Portal option shows a tab labeled “Mysterious Gift,” where players can select the prompt named “with code/password” to translate the correct pronunciation and capitalization of the code to get their reward(s).

According to Pockettactics, the first Mystery Gift Code listed expires on February 28, 2023, giving players a limited ability to redeem their Ability Capsule. Ambitious Trainers preparing for higher Star Tera Raids will need this item, however, as it helps players choose between two possible abilities that are naturally associated with each Pokemon caught. Additionally, the more challenging fights, like the recent Greninja Seven Star Raid, require precise team builds that are much easier to accomplish with an Ability Capsule.
While no expiration dates are listed for the other mystery gift codes, players should expect a similar time limit and not waste time claiming as many rewards as they like. For example the Mystery Gift Codes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in February 2023 cannot be active forever so players are advised to claim them quickly as similar codes for Flying Tera Pikachu will also expire towards the end of the month.
