Again, the footage tends to keep plot details vague, instead focusing on the intense action sequences that fans have come to expect from this franchise. However, the footage also highlights the danger of this mission, as the film’s antagonists, Esai Morales and Henry Czerny, repeatedly point out that Ethan Hunt risks losing everything on this latest mission. Of course, that doesn’t mean Hunt is going to back down.
Along with the release of the latest trailer, a new poster will also be released (above Twitter) was unveiled, presenting the exciting ensemble cast for the film. Typically, it’s Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt who takes the spotlight Impossible Mission posters, and while he certainly has the biggest presence here, the new image suggests more of an emphasis on the larger cast, emphasizing Ethan’s team of Ilsa, Benji, and Luther, as well as Vanessa Kirby’s White Widow and Hayley Atwell’s Grace. As has been the case in every film in the series since it began in 1996, Tom Cruise will return to play IMF agent Ethan Hunt. Ving Rhames, the only other cast member to appear in every film, is also back, alongside returning actors Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, and Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis. Particularly exciting for the fans is the return of Henry Czerny as former IMF director Eugene Kittridge, who was last seen in the first Impossible Mission and was a great addition to Hunt.
Among the new cast members, Hayley Atwell will play the mysterious character Grace. Judging by the footage, she will be an ally of Hunt’s and will be involved in much of the action. She was previously described as “ambiguous.“Esai Morales will play the film’s villain. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Star Pom Klementieff also plays an antagonist in the film, though her name is yet to be revealed. McQuarrie teased that she “is someone who is a partner of Esai at the beginning of our story and represents this malevolent force that Ethan is up against.“
Other notable additions to the cast include Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Shea Whigam, Rob Delaney and Mark Gatiss. After starring as a villain in the last two films, Sean Harris doesn’t seem set to return as Solomon Lane in Solomon Lane Mission: Impossible 7.
Mission: Impossible 7 Story Details
Similar to Tom Cruise’s missions in these movies, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 updates are still kept fairly secret at this time. For the first few sequels, the Impossible Mission In general, the franchise has kept each installment as a standalone adventure. Although Hunt and other characters return, the missions are new. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation And Mission: Impossible – Fallout changed that somewhat by taking Solomon Lane as the villain. It doesn’t look like it Mission: Impossible 7 will tie into those films, but as part one of a two-part story, it will set the stage for possibly the greatest threat Hunt and his team have ever faced.
The latest trailer offers a little more insight into the plot, but still remains vague. There are signs that Hunt’s past is coming back to haunt him, while Kittridge warns that he cannot escape it. It is also revealed that Hunt shares a certain history with Esai Morales’ villain. His character could also hint at the greater impending threat to brace yourself for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning part 2 as he tells Hunt “You have no idea what power I represent.”

The second full-length trailer for Mission: Impossible 7 was released, and while it doesn’t shed too much light on the plot, it manages to get fans excited about the return to the high-octane action series. Once again the footage is impressive Mission: Impossible 7is the film’s motorcycle stunt, but also places the emphasis on the equally thrilling train sequence, which appears to be the film’s climax. Story-wise, it suggests that Hunt’s past is coming back to haunt him while showing Hunt putting himself on the line to protect his team, saying, “Your life will always be more important to me than my own.”
