Two-year-old MLS veteran Patryk Klimala has switched from the Red Bulls to the Israel Premier League, the team announced on Sunday.
Klimala, the Red Bulls’ top scorer with eight goals in his 2021 rookie season, has joined Hapoel Be’er Sheva FC, according to a statement from the Red Bulls. You keep a sales percentage of the transfer fee if another club buys the forward.
24-year-old Klimala made 57 appearances (46 starts) in his two years in New York. He added seven assists in 2021 and recorded five goals and three assists in 2022.
Klimala previously played for Celtic FC in the Scottish Premiership and scored three goals in 681 minutes in 28 games in all competitions in 2020. His professional career began with Jagiellonia Bialystok in his native Poland, where he played 47 games and scored 11 goals.
