TRANSMISSION TRACKER STATUS: Transfer
New York Red Bulls have transferred striker Patryk Klimala to Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Be’er Sheva and are keeping a transfer fee, the club announced on Sunday.
The move opens a designated player spot for the Red Bulls and ends a two-year MLS stint for the 24-year-old former Poland youth international. He recorded 13 goals and 10 assists in 57 league games (46 starts) after joining from Scottish powerhouse Celtic FC in April 2021.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva, last season’s runners-up in the Israeli Premier League, is third in the 2022-23 season.
“We thank Patryk for everything he has done for the club,” said Jochen Schneider, head of sport for the Red Bulls, in a broadcast. “We wish him and his family all the best in their future endeavors.”
