“Boys Planet” Contestant And Woollim’s Trainee Jang Min Seo Drop Out Of The Show Soompi

“Boys Planet” contestant Jang Min Seo will be leaving the show.

On February 3, Woollim Entertainment announced that trainee Jang Min Seo, who participated in Mnet’s new audition program “Boys Planet,” will be dropping out due to severe knee pain.

The full statement from the agency is as follows:

Hello. It’s Woollim Entertainment.

We are making an announcement regarding our trainee Jang Min Seo, who participated in Mnet’s “Boys Planet” audition program, leaving the show.

Due to the worsening of his knee pain, which he suffered from before [the show], our trainee Jang Min Seo expressed his desire to quit the program. After careful discussion, we decided to respect Jang Min Seo’s opinion and have him leave the show.

We will do everything we can to support our trainee Jang Min Seo so that he can recover his health.

“Boys Planet” is the male version of “Girls Planet 999,” the 2021 audition show that spawned girl group Kep1er. The program aired its first episode on February 2.
