An actor from the WaterWorld show at Universal Studios Hollywood was hospitalized Monday after an accident while performing live.
A burning artist fell 30 feet into a water tank and did not resurface.
A shocked audience watched as staff pulled him out of the water and performed CPR. He was taken to the hospital.
The actor has not been identified and his condition has not been made public.
“We can confirm that a cast member was taken to the hospital with one of our longtime show providers during an afternoon performance and our thoughts are with him while he is being cared for,” a Universal Studios spokeswoman said in a statement to the City News Service was made available. “Details about the event are being checked.”
