Guardians of the Galaxy and dune Star Dave Bautista looks set to star in and produce a new crime thriller for Netflix.
meeting reports that the wrestler-turned-actor is considering a project titled Unleashed. Jeff Tosmic, who directed the offbeat comedy SIGNwill direct the film, while the writers of blockersJim and Brian Kehoe are writing the screenplay.
In the film, Bautista will play a police officer who works with a sniffer dog named Boomer. Unfortunately, the dog dies on the job and Bautista’s character swears he will never work with another dog again. But then he gets partnered with a new pooch, Zeus.

Speak with Digital Spy Previously, the actor teased what was to come Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 could be the last time he plays Drax the Destroyer.
“There’s been talk of a Drax and Mantis movie for a while. That was really because it was James Gunn’s idea. He was dying to do a Drax and Mantis movie, but I haven’t heard from the studio yet,” he said.
As well as the third Guardian Bautista was also cast in the film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mysterywhich will also come to Netflix as the streaming giant has bought the rights to the franchise and is planning multiple sequels.
He will play too Knock at the hutwhich will be Shyamalan’s first film since M Night Old last year.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 and volume 2 are available immediately. That Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special comes to Disney+ later this year, and then Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 arrives May 5, 2023.
