Universal
If you go to the new Universal Studios Hollywood Super Nintendo World and worried about crowds, a new ticket add-on gives you a head start on other guests.
For an additional $20 to $25 (depending on dates), the Super Nintendo World early access ticket gets you into the country one hour before the park’s official opening time. You still need a separate park entry for the same date.
This complicates park planning for people who don’t want to pay for early access, since guests will already be in country by the time they rush down to the Lower Lot when the park officially opens. However, early access ticket holders will have an incentive to leave the country as their purchase includes a one-time Studio Tour Express Pass, valid until 11am only
Early Access tickets are now available for visits beginning February 18th – the day after Super Nintendo World’s grand opening. At the time of publication, it won’t be offered past the end of April, although Universal could extend the add-on if needed.
Universal already has a crowd management strategy for Super Nintendo World with a virtual queuing system which can be used when the country is close to capacity.
The country was indeed congested during its first annual preview for passport holders on Jan. 29. It was so busy that Universal pass holders who attended this preview are offering to come back on February 6 because, as the park noted in its email, “we know that not all guests were able to experience the country as expected.” .”
