Microsoft is rolling out more features for its Xbox app on PC. The March update includes better game discoverability, quick access to your recently played games, and other useful elements.
The Xbox app launches new filters
The app’s home page gets a new collection called trendingand as the name suggests, it is displayed the most popular games in the application. The 10 games that appear here are based on the user’s region, providing quick access to the games with the most players.
A new feature is also coming for those looking for more personalized recommendations. According to Microsoft, after choosing from a range of options, the app will present games that will hopefully suit the user’s tastes.
The sidebar is renewed with this update. Instead of showing the entire library of installed games in alphabetical order from now on Only recently played or installed games are shown. The original list of installed games can be found in the My Library section.
They arrive too better filters for the mentioned library. As seen in the screenshot above, they can be used as filters to quickly sort everything from gender and number of supported players to untouched games.
The new features of the March update are rolling out today for Xbox Insiders and should be available to regular Xbox app users soon.
