Sony will release the PlayStation Plus Collection in May

Make sure to download some PS4 greats beforehand!

Sony is retiring the PlayStation Plus Collection, a grouping of several PS4 hits, from May 9th.

“Starting May 9, the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be available as a PlayStation Plus benefit,” Sony said in an email to customers sent out this morning.

“You can add any PlayStation Plus Collection title to your game library before May 9th and play any time in the future with an active PlayStation Plus membership.”

The collection, available since 2020, includes i.a Batman Arkham Knight, the last guardian The Last of Us Remastered and Resident Evil 7.

Sony also noted that “PlayStation Plus games catalogue, monthly games and other existing benefits are not affected by this change” as part of the announcement.
