How to get Ember Armor in TOTK (Tears of the Kingdom Zelda)

Compared to its predecessor, Link has several new armor sets to choose from in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Ember Armor is one of the more unique (and fun) items players can find around Hyrule. While the Flamebreaker Armor protects Link from the heat, the Ember Armor actually gives him an attack boost in high temperatures.

Where to get Ember trousers in TOTK (Tears of the Kingdom Zelda)

The Ember Trousers are perhaps the most difficult to find, in part because they are one of the more annoying finds in Tears of the Kingdom. To start, go to the entrance to the Cephala Lake cave (coordinates 2597, 1325, 0151).

There are two NPCs outside the entrance who will tell Link that inside is a treasure left by the legendary Misko from Breath of the Wild.

When players enter the cave, they will find a room containing a number of chests. Ember is in the back left corner of the room with the trousers buried in the ground. A good way to find it is to stop short of Brillbloom Seeds growing in that corner. Have a rough idea of ​​where it is.

Even with photos, it can still be difficult to find. I fully admit that until I found the Ember Trouser I was just walking towards the area and opening every nearby chest.

Where to get the Ember Shirt in TOTK (Tears of the Kingdom Zelda)

amber shirt is found Goronbi River Cave, The fastest way to get there is to head to Goron City, head west to the Goron River, then find the tip where the river ends on the south side. The coordinates of Goronbi River Cave are 1418, 2105, 0286.

Inside the cave will be a river of lava with boulders that Link can use to cross. Head straight through the opening and players will find a lava waterfall next to a stone platform with streams of lava cascading down from the right.

To pass this part, players must build a bridge with some boulders to get to the platform and defeat the Fire Like Likes waiting there. I built my bridge with three stones to make sure I would make it to the other side. That gap in the lava is deceptively wide.

After beating Fire Like Like, Stone Bridge might have floated around. Players can jump back across the bridge to swim through the rest of the cave.

In the next room there will be a hanging beam; Climb it to find the Liesel Blade.

From this platform, simply glide to the other side of the room and go through the door. Not only will players get the Ember Shirt, but they’ll also get a clue to Link’s Awakening Armor.

Where to get the Ember Headdress in TOTK (Tears of the Kingdom Zelda)

For the final piece of the Ember Armor set, players will need to head to Unoboko South Cave. It can be found north of Goron City by all trains. Its coordinates are 1713, 2720, 0403.

There will be some Horoblins to battle inside. Once they’re taken care of, use a hammer to break open the rubble and head into the room inside. There will be a fleet vehicle in mid assembly, but players can ignore it; The only thing needed here is the hydrant.

Grab the hydrant and return to the main room. Use the Hydrant to create at least three stone slabs.

Be sure to line them up on the right side of the room, as the goal is to reach the extended platform there. If necessary, grab one of the last slabs with an ultrahand and move it to the front of the platform.

Once on the other side of the lava, Link can simply walk to the back where there is a raft with a pedestal on top. It holds the chest inside with the amber headdress.
