Sherwin Johnson, one of Guyana’s most respected referees, has announced his retirement after 13 years on the field.
Johnson ended his career at the highest level after refereeing games for the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Concacaf and FIFA, the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) said in a statement.
The FIFA-accredited official officiated his last game on January 1 at Leonora Track & Field Stadium in West Demerara.
