I consider Nordstrom to be one of my favorite stores. While I routinely shop online at the retailer and browse the site daily while doing market research for my various stories, I also enjoy visiting the brick and mortar store when I’m in the area. I did just that recently while visiting Chicago. But I didn’t just browse the shelves. I actually had the opportunity to work personally with one of the brand’s in-house stylists.
That’s correct. I spent the morning with Lauren Meek (pictured above) as she drew stuff that she thought would work for me. And since I’m always interested in learning how others define what’s in and out, I had Meek trade in pieces that she thinks could replace some of the obsolete items in my closet. Of course, however, I always notice that styling decisions are personal and you should always wear what you absolutely love.
With that in mind, keep scrolling to learn more about what a Nordstrom Stylist added to my listing. The pieces that come your way are all unique, but they all have one thing in common as they are simple and easy to style. If any of the product categories catch your eye, I’ve also browsed Nordstrom’s online offering to find inspired women’s clothing products that may be of interest to you.
