Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry enjoy all of life’s little moments, even while waiting.
the Upper gun: maverick star, 35, and his wife of three years – along with their six-year-old French bulldog Bugsy – star in a new Super Bowl ad for Bud Light. The spot, which airs during Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12, features the couple hilariously dancing to hold music while they endure a 50-minute wait to speak to a customer service representative.
Teller and Sperry, 30, get into the ‘easy fun’ spirit with a few cans of Bud Light, which Teller cracks open, performs a few dance moves, then manages to lure his wife off the couch to dance with him and their adorable pup.
“It’s really been an amazing year for Keleigh and me, not just professionally but personally,” Teller told PEOPLE. “So when Bud Light came along and wanted us to be part of a Super Bowl commercial, I mean, that’s the top of the mountain as far as these things go. We always look forward to watching them. “
Teller’s moves, which were also on display in Top Gun: Maverick And Free from all ties, were mostly his own. “There’s a lot of improvisation,” he laughs. “We went to a rehearsal, just to be professional about it – but in the back of my head, I was kind of like…I kind of knew the moves I wanted to do.”

He was particularly drawn to the concept of the ad because “it doesn’t even look like an ad,” he says. “It feels like a slice of life and I hope it puts a smile on people’s faces.”
The ad gives fans a glimpse of how the notoriously private couple conduct themselves while at home. “You get a glimpse of Keleigh and I hang out at home, which is pretty much what we do. We don’t really hang out much, if at all,” he says.

Still at home, Teller is the family cook. “I’m the eater,” Sperry tells PEOPLE. “[He makes] very good chicken, very good fish – generally very healthy. We like to try pasta substitutes. That’s usually his diet.”
Teller will relax his diet for Super Bowl Sunday to enjoy some appetizers, he says, and watch their family on the small screen.
“It’s a moment in time,” he says. “It’s something we can show our future children.”
